Design has so many roles and responsibilities in the world today. It has to be sexy, slick, elegant, sophisticated, philosophical, simple, complex, clear, fun, strong, contemporary, methodical, transparent, process based, intuitive, green, celebratory, exotic, new, fresh, based on tradition...but not too much tradition, at times funny...yet at other times deadly serious, visible, user focused, conceptual, adaptable and on and on. Successful design is somehow found between the "eye of the beholder" and bound to universal principals. Here, in this website "Design gone wild", we seek to celebrate both the strange and the frivilous to the profound and the exceptional. This is a journal about the culture of the senses.
